Tustin (Calif.) linebacker/fullback Marshaun Daniel is striving for success on and off the field.
"I'm a two-way starter and I've been hearing from schools for both my offensive and defensive talents," Daniel tells FOX Sports NEXT. "In addition to my on field achievements, I am striving for a 4.0 GPA, and I'm only two points away."
"My team and I have been working extremely hard on and off the field, in hopes of being the first Tustin team to win back to back CIF titles," he adds.
Daniel and his Tustin teammates (11-0) will face Huntington Beach tonight.
After the season is when Daniel plans to shift focus onto recruiting.
"I ail be taking my official visits after this season," says Daniel, who reports interest from UC Davis, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, California, and UNLV.
"I'm planning to take my officials to UNLV, Cal, and UC Davis," he shares.
What will the athlete be looking for on his official trips?
"Just an overall great environment," Daniel answers. "Of course, good academics, and a program that I feel I can contribute to the best."
