"The visit went good," Dixon said. "Coach (Trey) Haverty was here. I'm planning on visiting TCU in January. I like their offense."
Dixon projected early as a safety but now expects to play on the other side of the ball in college.
"Everyone is recruiting me as a receiver now," said the 6-foot-2, 195-pounder, who was best-known as the starting quarterback for West Saint Mary during his prep career. "I would rather play receiver (than defense)."
Dixon will visit Houston next weekend.
"I don't know too much about them yet," he said, while acknowledging that current Cougar and Patterson product Trevon Stewart (from the same area as West Saint Mary) was first in the nation among true frosh in tackles.
Jontrey Tillman inked with Houston out of West Saint Mary in February.
The former Cornhusker commit says he has yet to decide on a fifth official.
"No one is standing out," he added when asked about additional info regarding the aforementioned four frontrunners.
