After eight games, including tournament play in Puerto Rico, Cougars launch the 2007-2008 season with seven wins and one loss. Strong team performances at last Saturday's 83-68 win over Middle Tennessee in Hofheinz Pavilion include senior "Fluff" McKiver's record-setting 3-pointers (count 'em - nine!) along with freshman point guard, Zamal Nixon's 14 points and seven assists.

UH's hoops look to have a good shot at going to the NCAA tournament in 2008. Show your support this season and get out to the games early on to let Coach Penders know UH fans care!
