| Biography: |
| Younger brother of one of Tulane's All-Time greats, wide receiver JuJuan Dawson. Walked on in the spring of 2002 and eventually earned a scholarship after originally enrolling in 2000 on an academic cholarship. Only played one season of high school football. He hits and he makes plays and is considered by some to have the talent to play in the NFL, if he can stay healthy.
Was injured much of last season but still managed to play in 9 games. Has played in 21 career games and made 9 career starts. Has forced five fumbles and recovered two so far in his career, returning one for a touchdown against ARMY last season. Has ZERO career interceptions and four career pass breakups. Has seen some playing time at both free safety and strong safety.
